Anywho, after the shaft’s removed, the inside of the hosel needs to be cleaned. If you’re doing it by hand, it’s easiest to put it in a vice and use a “shoe polisher” motion. If you don’t have a vice, I suppose you could do it by hand You could maybe reuse the old grip, but if you have a new shaft, why use an old grip? Why are golf club drivers so expensive?

You can do it yourself, but you need to know how cost to reshaft is done. It’s not that hard to do. Just scares me doing it myself. I also got the ferrules there.
Cost of reshafting AP2’s
Best to check first. It took a couple of hours but was worth it. Some of the deals that will be floating around in January will throw something nice up for you I am sure. Soap and cost to reshaft will get it off. You’ll want to rotate it around and go in and out a few times, to smear the glue cost to reshaft over the tip.

Pull the shaft out and make a check; if you have an even amount of epoxy all around the tip, that’ll be enough.
